His teachings mean different things to different people. This is because he taught to suit the persons needs, not their wants. This made his teachings change and evolve thru the steps of development. Tai Sijo Dr. A. P. Tamper was a true martial art master. This is seen, heard, felt and cherished in his teachings, trainings and his students loving, honor and respect in his memory. This man was a teacher, mentor and friend to his close students but was also a father figure to most of them.
The head teachers, teachers and students of Yee Chong Mu Gow Family Arts & Yee Do - Vee - Fut Ch’uan Fa will truly miss this figure that taught them wisdom, humility, strength, fighting techniques but most of all what the word FAMILY means.
The words of a Chinese proverb that goes
“ My teacher for a day, my father for life. When you take the role of teacher you have a duty, that of unlike a father to a son.” is very appropriate in this situation.
Tai Sijo Dr. A. P. Tamper – POP – you will always be with us thru your teachings, training and friendship. God Bless you and your family.
